At the end of the course the participant will be able to:

• Implement and support the new hardware and services provided by Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch 10k switches and the AOS Release 7.

Προαπαιτούμενα / Prerequisites
To have attended the training courseware in Release 6 (e.g. DT00TE810, DT00TE813, DT00TE720, DT00TE811, DT00TE721)
To have an understanding of routing principles (IP, RIP OSPF, BGP). Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, SNMP and MIB structure is recommended

OmniVista

At the end of the course the participant will be able to:

• Install, configure and troubleshoot the network equipments by using the administration tools OmniVista 2500-2700 Series

It is recommended to have network administration knowledge (SNMP, other administration tools)

Tap-Lab

Σκοπός Εκπαιδευτικού Προγράμματος / Objectives
To get additional practice on the Alcatel-Lucent Product/Solution.

Προαπαιτούμενα / Prerequisites
TTo have experience in installing and maintaining the Alcatel-Lucent Product/Solution.
And/or to have attended the Alcatel-Lucent Product/Solution curriculum.

2 days Tap-Lab practice

A set of lab exercises is available in TAP-LAB classroom.
The labs that are provided during the TAP-LAB are different compared to the one given in trainings.
The TAP-LAB is not a blank exam: the topics that may be found in an exam are studied but the conditions of an exam are not reproduced in the TAP-LAB.
The TAP-LAB is not a course, so no predefined theoretical topics have to be covered.
Reminders on certain topics may be done upon requests from the participants. In any way, a complete chapter from a course cannot be studied.
There is no training guide to be provided during a TAP-LAB.
The technical documentation is available in electronic format on the PCs in the TAP-LAB classroom if it exists.
There is no technical documentation in paper format in the classroom.
An exam cannot start in a TAP-LAB session.
MCQ blank tests are not covered during TAP-LAB. The focus is made on
