Part I - ITIL V3 Foundation for Data Center

This course introduces the fundamentals of IT Service Management (ITSM) from a data center perspective. Based on Version 3 of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), this course shows how key concepts, processes, functions and roles of the ITIL service lifecycle relate to managing a data center. The course uses the exciting HP Race to Results Data Center Simulation, an interactive learning experience, to illustrate aspects of ITIL and how those enhance the quality and efficiency of data center operations. The course prepares attendees for the ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate examination.

Part II - Data Center for Managers

Σκοπός Εκπαιδευτικού Προγράμματος
This instructor-led course provides instruction on the operation of a Data Center from a Manager's point of view. The complexities of conflicts between IT departments and Data Centers are covered, including how fostering more
synergistic relationships can greatly improve results.

The topic of facilities management is then addressed in the context of the energy demands and environmental impacts of data centers and what can be done to minimize each. Lastly, the course examines some of the human resources challenges facing today's Data Center managers.
